So here are some numbers I'd like to share with you. According to the 2006 US Census data, there are approximately 1.6 million Vietnamese/Vietnamese-Americans here in the US.
Using my own generalized (generous?) assumptions, here's how I would break down that 1.6M population:
50%: % of the 1.6M who are FEMALE;
15%: % of the 50% FEMALE population who are between the AGES of 27-34 (my age preference);
50%: % of the 50% FEMALE population who are between the AGES of 27-34 and SINGLE;
25%: % of the FEMALE population who are between the AGES of 27-34, SINGLE, and COLLEGE EDUCATED;
25%: % of the FEMALE population who are between the AGES of 27-34, SINGLE, COLLEGE EDUCATED, and LIVING in LA or Orange County;
20%: % of the FEMALE population who are between the AGES of 27-34, SINGLE, COLLEGE EDUCATED, LIVING in LA or Orange County, and whom I likely share many KOMMON INTERESTS with;
15%: % of the FEMALE population who are between the AGES of 27-34, SINGLE, COLLEGE EDUCATED, LIVING in LA or Orange County, whom I likely share many KOMMON INTERESTS with, and who would be a good OVERALL MATCH.
After crunching these numbers:
1.6M * 50% * 15% * 50% * 25% * 25% * 20% * 15% = 113.
So, long story short, I'm looking for some one to ask out to lunch/dinner.
