But when the kingdom of heaven looks down upon us, they are likely the most radiant spirits temporarily living among us; they are whom heaven is awaiting to joyfully surprise and embrace with glorious praises and overwhelming, rewarding love that are invisible and unknown to our world, upon their "crossing-over" into eternity, :-). Perhaps that's why a very famous "person" once said, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," for there ultimately will be consequences after all!
